Pre-Production: Brainstorming an Idea to run with!

After having another meeting with Simon its evident we need to find a better focus for our documentary.

Me and Jack really like the idea on the snowflake generation. But based on our feedback, we need to find a focus to make it a better rounded documentary.

-Previous Generation to blame
-Focus on education specifically?

A sudden twist?

-Life as a snowflake, live with a label?

Living with a label as a concept

People who are snowflakes.
Demonstrations against Churchill get an education on Churchill
Bring together three example snowflakes and see just how hard life in 2019 is.

THey will all go through the stages of:
-Applying for a job
-Attending an activist demostration
-Speaking to Joanna in a lecture to argue

The 'R' Word

Rape has become a stigma

Falsely accused rape allegations

-Speak to feminist group
-speak to real victim and falsely accused individual
-speak to someone who has accused falsely and why
-speak to someone pressured into it
-speak to women who have been raped and not taken it any further because of all the hassle, drama and have been pressured out of it
-speak to men who have been falsely accused of rape

We then found Liams story- like his story
Follow his journey- meeting actual rapist and others flasely accused
the justice system

I would like to reference all the way back to august when I was researching what was current for any potential documentary ideas. I was looking at videos on ITV's This Morning, I found a video on Earth Angels which I really liked. But the idea didn't really grab me. Despite lots of different ideas being developed and changed, sometimes completely changed myself and Jack feel we have really reached a final verdict here and we are going to run with it. Tomorrow we would like to meet with both Simon and Helen to go over the idea to get their thoughts but all being well we feel pretty settled on this.
