News Production: Testing Ideas: DIY Projector
My DIY tech practice was interesting but unfortunately unsuccessful but I’ve learned from it for the real shoot. I’ve learned that I will need to make a proper stand and be more cautious when cutting the hole around the magnifying glass as before it was a bit rough with blunt scissors, so needed to be careful so no light can come in; it should only be letting light out. I will know this for next time and have been able to work out where I went wrong so I won't go wrong for when this is actually recorded.
Another mistake I made in practice was the shoe box i used was perhaps a bit too bing in width. It was difficult to stand my phone up inside because of this, and also the light was distributed all inside the box rather than being directed straight forward.
I also feel it would've been more successful had I glued together the lose messy pieces of cardboard
